Wichita ICT Fest
I went to Wichita for the first time this weekend to see some bands at ICT Fest. I was walking around the old town in the downtown area with the people I went down with, and I stumbled upon this wall. This was taken on Douglas I think, near a bar called "The Anchor" at a tatoo joint named "The Electric Chair"Note- This post originally incorrectly credited these paint splatters to Chris Trenary, (sometimes the word on the street ain't right) and it has since been corrected. But, if you are in the Wichita area, stop by some of the local art venues around town and check out some of his works on exhibit.
Near I-35 in KC, Da Warehouse DIstrict
This was the first major wall that I had the opportunity to take pictures of in KC. Some pretty good tags and such here, but I would have loved to seen the previous layer of paint before these were done.
Random building on 43st in KC
Found on the side of a building going west on 43rd after it turns into something else (maybe Westport). Had a strange oriental type of feel to it . . .
The East Lawernce Waltz Street Mural
Mad Props to David Loewenstein(his site is here) for leading this project, on the east side. It is very moving and detailed, and I took these pictures on a warm spring morning.
Paint on a Car Counts as Street Art
This is one of the cars used by Van Go Mobile Arts Inc in East Lawrence. It even had zebra print seats.

Banksy- self-described "art terrorist"
My paint smelling life has been going through withdraws, so when I get the paint shakes, I check out Banksy on youtube. youtube is like NyQuil for a drunk

First Worthwhile Spotting in Lawrence
Having a car drastically reduces the number of nooks and crannies I get to explore since I have been back state side. Most of the the good "big city" paint is about and 45 minutes from where I live, so I don't get to stumble across street masterpieces in the Midwest. But, as I do stumble upon it, I will post it, like this stencil.
